Turquoise
7 March 2015:
We had dinner here last night. Quite good! Organic Mediterranean, I believe, in Redondo Beach.

San Pedro Visit
21 February 2015:
We went to visit Bill's old stomping grounds in San Pedro. Susan had to check out the 5 inch anti-aircraft gun, just like Lisa did in December!
Check out those the Snap-On caps.

Walk #18, Music Box Loop
15 February 2015:
Today we did walk number 18 from the Secret Staircases book, in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles. One of its big features is a walk up and down the same set of stairs used by Laurel and Hardy in their short comedy film "MusicBox". Besides that staircase there were more gorgeous Craftsman style homes along the route, and the ramen noodles at the end were unexpectedly great!

Highland Park - Highlands (Walk #8)
31 January 2015:
I was always curious about the neighborhoods between downtown LA and Pasadena. We saw one of these neighborhoods today when we took Walk #8 from the "Secret Stairs" book.
Here are a few samples of what we saw on that walk. I bet you there are not any murals in Minneapolis that have a guitar player with four arms playing a two-necked guitar!
The last image is of a house that is listed as a Historic-Cultural Monument by the City of Los Angeles. You can see the brass plaque on the house near the top of the stairs.
