Santa Monica Pier

I went north to the Santa Monica pier this evening in search of more material for this year's photo project. While there, I caught the sunset with a more 'traditional' photo. The clouds were quite nice. The pier was absolutely packed with people enjoying the evening.

Taken during a break in our walk through the Hermosa Fiesta this afternoon. Today's posting of ocean conditions at lifeguard headquarters said the water temperature was 70 deg F. Warm for here.
